Leeds Trinity University is calling out to the legal sector to find placement opportunities for second year law students.

Leeds Trinity University offers all students the opportunity to undertake a work placement as part of their degree and students often consider this to be the most valuable part of their studies.

The university is calling out to businesses within the legal sector to find placement opportunities for second year law students.

However, without the support and engagement of organisations, LTU are unable to provide students with relevant practical experience which is a core element of their degree programmes and essential to their academic and professional development.

Thanks to placement providers, Leeds Trinity University produces graduates that enter the job market as enterprising, skilled, and work-ready individuals with 96% of graduates employed or in further study 15 months after graduating.

What are professional placements?

Students work full-time on specific projects or as a general support to the work you do. The goal of a placement is for students to gain first-hand experience of working in a role or environment relevant to their course and to gain employability skills.

Placement dates:

·     Option 1: 5-6 weeks full-time starting from 17th April 2023.

·     Option 2: 20 weeks part-time (1-2 days a week)starting as soon as possible.

There is no cost to the business and placements can be remote or onsite, 150 hours required. You will need to complete the placement brief, Health & Safety questionnaire, and a feedback form at the end of the placement.

Deadline: March 2023.
