This year, that connection becomes even more tangible. We are proud to announce that LawtechUK is joining us as an Official Partner of the LegalTech in Leeds Annual Conference 2026.
LawtechUK is the UK's national programme dedicated to driving digital transformation in the legal sector, backed by the Ministry of Justice. As of April 2023, it is managed by CodeBase and Legal Geek on behalf of the MoJ. Through a broad portfolio of activity, LawtechUK works to build a culture of innovation across legal services, increase understanding of lawtech's benefits, support economic growth in the sector, and develop technology that improves access to legal services and reduces unmet legal need.
As Christina Blacklaws, Chair of LawtechUK, puts it:
LawtechUK brings together leaders from government, investment, academia and the legal sector to drive the future of UK legal services and access to law.
Having them in the room on 21 May will add real depth and national context to the day's conversations.
Beth Fellner, Director of LegalGeek, will be speaking in the morning session, giving delegates an overview of the investment landscape, what is happening across the LegalTech sector nationally, and what is on the horizon.

Legal Geek launched the world's first lawtech startup conference in 2016 and runs the largest legal tech event in Europe, so Beth brings an exceptional vantage point on where the industry is heading.
LawtechUK will also be chairing the LegalTech Showcase on the conference agenda, introducing and quizzing the projects and LegalTech companies taking part. It is one of the most anticipated parts of the day and having LawtechUK lead it adds real credibility to the showcase.

The LegalTech in Leeds Annual Conference 2026 takes place on Thursday, 21 May at The Rose Bowl, Leeds Beckett University. Register now and come and meet the LawtechUK team on the day.
